APIs are one of the essential ingredients of digitalization initiatives and organizations increasingly put API programs in place. The goal of API programs is to help everybody throughout an organization on the API journey, and to make sure that the API initiative is pervasive and strategically supported.There are some well-known patterns and anti-patterns that allow organizations to improve their API programs based on the experience with existing efforts.
