Shane Battier Bio:
Shane Battier is in his third season as Vice President, Basketball Development & Analytics of the Miami Heat, using his distinguished 13-year NBA career and heralded collegiate career at Duke University to help guide the Heat's basketball development strategy. Battier's long list of accomplishments includes helping the Heat win back-to-back NBA championships, three Eastern Conference Championships, three division titles. He was the 2014 winner of the Twyman-Stokes NBA Teammate of the Year Award, and a two-time recipient of the Magic Johnson Award for excellence on the court and cooperation with media and fans. Shane is the only player in NBA history to be a part of two streaks of at least 22 wins (27 in Miami, 22 in Houston). Additionally, Battier was integral to Duke winning an NCAA Championship, four regular season ACC titles, and three ACC Tournament titles.
